Actor Barkha Singh is spending her birthday working on the sets of her upcoming reality show “We Got You, Girl”, saying that being on set on a special day feels completely natural to her.
Known for her performances in projects such as “Criminal Justice: A Family Matter” and “The Sabarmati Report”, Barkha said she believes consistency and growth come from regular dedication rather than just milestone moments.
“I’ve always believed that consistency is built in the ordinary days, not the milestone ones. So spending my birthday on set feels completely natural to me,” she said.
The actor added that she finds fulfilment in the process of learning, collaborating and improving with every project.
“There’s something incredibly fulfilling about showing up, learning, collaborating, and trying to become a little better with every project. I’m grateful for everything that’s brought me here, and looking ahead, I’m just excited to keep surprising myself as an actor,” Barkha said.
The actress will next be seen portraying an IRS officer in the upcoming crime thriller “Tax Department Story”.
Barkha’s recent big-screen appearance was in “The Sabarmati Report”, a 2024 film directed by Ranjan Chandel, which also featured Vikrant Massey, Raashii Khanna and Riddhi Dogra. The film is based on the Godhra train burning incident involving the Sabarmati Express on February 27, 2002.
On television, she appeared in “Jat Ki Jugni”, a drama featuring Vishal Vashishtha and Madirakshi Mundle among others.
Her latest work includes “Criminal Justice: A Family Matter”, a legal drama directed by Rohan Sippy and featuring Pankaj Tripathi, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Surveen Chawla, Khushboo Atre and Asha Negi.
The series follows lawyer Madhav Mishra as he defends a man accused in a murder case, with hidden truths emerging during the courtroom battle.
