The Madhya Pradesh government on Friday effected a major administrative reshuffle, transferring and posting 20 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, including senior officials holding the ranks of Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Commissioners and District Collectors.
According to an order issued by the General Administration Department, Sachin Sinha (1995 batch) has been appointed Additional Chief Secretary, Public Health and Medical Education Department. K.C. Gupta (1992), Additional Chief Secretary, Cottage and Rural Industries Department, has been given additional charge of the Horticulture and Food Processing Department while continuing as Agriculture Production Commissioner.
Rajendra Kumar Singh (1997) has been shifted to the Forest Department as Principal Secretary, while Sandeep Yadav (2000) has been transferred to the Water Resources Department and will continue to hold the NRI portfolio. John Kingsley I.R. (2004) has been appointed Secretary, Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion and MSME departments, while Dr. Sudam P. Khade (2006) has been posted as Secretary to the Chief Minister.
Among key field-level appointments, Bhaskar Lakshakar (2010) has been named Commissioner of Indore Division. Ajay Katesariya has been appointed Collector of Ratlam, Rtankar Jha as Collector of Anuppur, Misha Singh as Collector of Shahdol, Divyank Singh as Collector of Mandsaur, Sher Singh Meena as Collector of Agar Malwa and Guru Prasad as Collector of Khargone.
Kedar Singh has been transferred as Additional Secretary in the Public Works Department, while Harshal Pancholi has been posted as Executive Director of EPCO, Bhopal. Aditi Garg has been appointed Development Commissioner in the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department, and Preeti Yadav has been named Managing Director of the Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation, Indore.
The reshuffle also assigned additional responsibilities to several senior officers. Additional Chief Secretary Neeraj Mandloi has been given charge of the Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion and MSME departments, Principal Secretary Manish Singh has been entrusted with the Energy Department, and Principal Secretary E. Ramesh Kumar has been assigned additional charge of the Narmada Valley Development Department.
