Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh has shared his admiration for Japan’s cleanliness during his ongoing visit to the country, posting a video that captured his surprise at the absence of roadside litter and the difficulty of finding a public dustbin.
In the video shared on social media, Diljit is seen carrying a small piece of waste while searching for a place to dispose of it properly. Impressed by the surroundings, he remarked on the country’s spotless streets, noting that hardly any litter could be seen despite the limited number of public bins.
The actor also offered glimpses of his travel experiences, exploring local streets, sampling Japanese cuisine and visiting shops. Sharing the post, he wrote, “Before Europe Tour Jatt Exploring Beautiful Japan. Jaldi Milde An Europe. AURA World Tour 2026.”
The latest update comes after Diljit recently treated fans to snapshots from Tokyo, where he was seen enjoying Japanese delicacies, indulging in ice cream and experiencing the city’s vibrant culture before beginning the next leg of his international tour.
The singer has been preparing for his upcoming AURA World Tour 2026, with Japan serving as a stop before his scheduled performances across Europe.
Diljit had also been in the news recently after expressing support for students protesting in Delhi and recalling the criticism and legal challenges he said he faced following his support for the farmers’ protest. In a social media post, he said he had previously been labelled “anti-national” and acknowledged that similar criticism could follow his latest comments.
