BJP leader from Punjab Fatehjung Singh Bajwa met BJP National President Nitin Nabin at the party chief’s residence and discussed a broad roadmap for Punjab’s development and the state’s role in contributing to the vision of a developed India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
According to a party statement, the meeting focused on strategies to strengthen Punjab’s economy, promote investment, create employment opportunities, empower farmers and entrepreneurs, and accelerate infrastructure development through development-oriented governance.
During the discussions, Bajwa highlighted Punjab’s historic contribution to the nation’s growth through agriculture, industry, national security and public service. He said the state possesses immense potential to once again emerge as a leading contributor to India’s economic progress with transparent governance, effective leadership and active public participation.
The leaders also discussed the need to position Punjab as a hub of prosperity, entrepreneurship, innovation and opportunity while ensuring inclusive development across all sections of society.
The meeting reaffirmed the Bharatiya Janata Party’s commitment to advancing policies aimed at boosting economic growth, generating employment for the youth and creating an environment conducive to investment and development in Punjab.
Speaking after the meeting, Fatehjung Singh Bajwa said Punjab has always played a vital role in India’s strength and progress and expressed confidence that the state could regain its prominence through development, investment, employment generation and good governance.
He further stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Punjab would have a significant role in achieving the vision of a “Viksit Bharat” and contributing to India’s emergence as a global power.
The interaction concluded with both leaders expressing their commitment to working towards a progressive, prosperous and future-ready Punjab that contributes meaningfully to the country’s long-term development goals.
