UNITED SIKHS Deploys Fogging Operations Across Flood-Affected Punjab To Prevent Disease Outbreaks

In response to the devastating floods that have swept across Punjab, UNITED SIKHS has mobilized its Jammu-based relief team to carry out critical fogging operations in flood-affected villages and institutions.

Carrying in their hearts the pain and resilience of communities across Punjab, the team is acting swiftly to reduce the risk of mosquito and fly-borne illnesses, prioritizing both public health and the dignity of those impacted.

Using specialized fogging machines, the team is disinfecting key public areas to prevent the spread of vector-borne diseases in the aftermath of the floods. This initiative is part of UNITED SIKHS’ broader humanitarian response, which centers both immediate relief and long-term recovery for displaced and vulnerable populations.

Fogging operations have been conducted in the following villages so far:

• Shaheed Major Bhagat Singh Government Senior Secondary School, Kala Nangal, Gurdaspur
