Actor Vineet Kumar Singh has expressed hope that his upcoming film ‘Pal Bhar Ke Liye’ will strike a chord with audiences across cultures after being selected for its world premiere at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM).
The actor said the international platform marks a significant beginning for the film and expressed gratitude that its first interaction with viewers will take place at a festival celebrating Indian cinema globally.
“It’s always special when a film begins its journey on an international platform. ‘Pal Bhar Ke Liye’ is a story that is extremely important to all of us, to the society and I’m grateful that its first interaction with audiences will happen at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne. I hope the film resonates with people across cultures and borders,” Vineet said.
Directed by filmmaker and designer Vikram Phadnis, the film features Vineet alongside Saiyami Kher and Tahir Raj Bhasin. The movie has been officially selected for its world premiere at IFFM, Australia, where it will have its first public screening on an international stage.
Vineet has recently been seen in films including ‘Chhaava’, ‘Superboys of Malegaon’ and ‘Jaat’, with his performances earning appreciation from audiences and critics.
Earlier this year, the actor also spoke about the use of Roman script for Hindi film dialogues despite movies being made in the Hindi language. In a conversation with IANS, Vineet said he prefers receiving his dialogues in Devanagari script as he feels it helps maintain a connection with the language.
“I always tell them to give the dialogues to me in the Devanagari script as I am well-versed in it. Since our dialogues are in Hindi, I feel it is better if the work is also done in the same language,” he had said.
He added that while creative teams have the freedom to choose their working methods, Hindi cinema often continues to operate in English during various stages of production despite making films in Hindi.
