Actor Sohail Khan was visibly emotional after his former wife, Seema Sajdeh, was eliminated from the reality series Alliance, following a dramatic episode marked by shifting alliances, strategic decisions and an emotional farewell.
The latest episode saw a major reset as “The System” directed contestants to reorganise into new alliances. As the reigning Ace, actor Kushal Tandon held two significant powers that allowed him to influence the course of the game, leaving contestants uncertain whether strategy or loyalty would prevail.
Early in the episode, host Mini Mathur questioned Kushal’s decision to save Sohail Khan despite receiving support from her, Delbar Arya and Nikhil Chinapa. Defending his move, Kushal said he had been aligned with Sohail since the beginning of the competition, while later admitting in his video diary that although Mini was important to him, her alliance was not.
As contestants regrouped into four teams of three, Seema Sajdeh and Sohail Khan initially found themselves without an alliance, placing them in a vulnerable position. During an emotional conversation, Seema encouraged Sohail to play more assertively, urging him to stop holding himself back and reminding him that his children would be watching his journey.
The game took another dramatic turn when the new alliances were announced. While four teams were formed, Seema Sajdeh and Daisy Shah were left without an alliance, leaving their future in the competition in Kushal Tandon’s hands.
Tasked with choosing one contestant for elimination and another for nomination, Kushal ultimately decided to eliminate Seema while nominating Daisy Shah.
Accepting the outcome, Seema said she was ready to return home to her children. Sohail struggled to contain his emotions, saying he wished Seema could stay because the time they had spent together on the show might never come again. He also questioned the severity of the twist, describing it as unusually harsh.
