Actress Sonakshi Sinha has credited Gen Z for helping her improve her padel game, sharing a playful post about her progress in the racquet sport.
The ‘Akira’ actress took to Instagram to share a video of herself playing padel and jokingly acknowledged the influence of the younger generation behind her improved performance.
“Giving GenZ credit for my improved game too. Just take it yaar. #channeling,” Sonakshi wrote while sharing the clip.
Padel, a rapidly growing sport worldwide, combines elements of tennis and squash and is played with solid racquets on an enclosed court.
The actress’ post received reactions from several celebrities. Actress Neha Dhupia commented, “You beat us hollow on,” while actor Varun Dhawan wrote, “U look like a samurai.”
Sonakshi has previously spoken about her admiration for Gen Z and their ability to bring energy and change. Earlier, she shared a social media post praising the younger generation for their activism and impact.
In a video shared on Instagram, she said, “I am an artist bro, but Gen Z is the art,” while expressing her appreciation for their approach and determination.
The actress had also shared multiple updates related to student-led protests, including a post mentioning the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. She shared a picture of protesting students with the song “Aari Aari” from the film ‘Dhurandhar’ playing in the background.
Sonakshi also reposted a video featuring CJP leader Abhijeet Dipke and praised his speech, while expressing appreciation for climate activist Sonam Wangchuk’s efforts.
