Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has once again grabbed attention on social media, this time with a heartfelt Instagram post dedicated to longtime friend and fellow actor Sanjay Dutt. Shared in the early hours of Saturday, the post featured two photographs of the actors embracing each other and celebrated their decades-old bond.
Accompanying the images was an emotional caption in which Salman repeatedly referred to Sanjay Dutt as “Baba” and expressed his affection and prayers for the veteran actor.
“Babaaaa forever baba aur baba, baba hota hai. Sanju baba hai hum sab ka baba n Sanju baba now apne bacchon ka baba, mera bada bhai Sanjay Dutt, Allah, Bhagwan Jesus sab iss aadmi ko khush rakhain, I love you Baba,” Salman wrote.
While the sentiment behind the message resonated with many fans, the caption’s unconventional wording also sparked a flurry of humorous reactions online. Social media users joked about the repeated use of the word “Baba,” with several commenting on the unique style of Salman’s post. Others playfully speculated about the mood behind the late-night message.
Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt share one of Hindi cinema’s longest-standing friendships, spanning more than three decades. The duo has appeared together in films including Saajan and has consistently spoken about their mutual admiration over the years. Salman has often described Sanjay as an elder brother and an important influence in his life.
The Instagram post comes shortly after Salman visited the sets of the streaming reality show Alliance, where his brother Sohail Khan is participating as a wildcard contestant alongside his former wife, Seema Sajdeh. Sohail recently expressed disappointment following Seema’s elimination from the show.
