Apple recorded another all-time June quarter revenue in India as the technology giant delivered strong global financial results, with CEO Tim Cook highlighting robust performance across every geographic segment despite supply chain constraints and foreign exchange headwinds.
The company reported quarterly revenue of $109.4 billion, marking a 16 per cent year-on-year increase. Diluted earnings per share rose 29 per cent to $2.02, while the gross margin stood at 50.1 per cent, supported by the favourable impact of tariff refunds.
Announcing the results, Cook said Apple achieved June quarter revenue records across all regions, including the United States, Latin America, Western Europe, India, mainland China, Japan and Southeast Asia.
India continued its strong growth trajectory, with the Mac business emerging as the standout performer. The company attributed the performance to increasing adoption of the MacBook Neo and sustained demand for the iPhone 17 series, despite supply constraints affecting iPhone availability in the country.
Globally, Apple’s Mac business generated $10.4 billion in revenue during the quarter, up 29 per cent from a year earlier and marking the best June quarter for the product category. Apple Chief Financial Officer Kevan Parekh said the Mac also delivered its strongest-ever quarter among first-time buyers and customers upgrading from older devices, including in India.
Industry experts said Apple has largely maintained stable pricing despite rising component costs, helping it strengthen its premium positioning in India. Tarun Pathak, Research Director at Counterpoint Research, said the company is expected to achieve single-digit volume growth but double-digit value growth in India during calendar year 2026, with a potential iPhone price increase likely. He added that Apple’s expanding ecosystem and strong customer loyalty continue to drive demand across product categories, particularly the Mac lineup.
