Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh is spending time in Japan before beginning his much-awaited Europe Tour, sharing glimpses of his Tokyo visit filled with food, shopping and travel experiences.
The Udta Punjab actor recently posted pictures and videos from Tokyo, where he was seen exploring the city’s streets, enjoying Japanese delicacies, visiting local stores and trying out desserts.
In one of the videos, Diljit can be seen walking through a grocery store, browsing products and enjoying coffee. Sharing moments from his trip, he wrote, “Jatt in Japan. Before Europe Tour Shopping in Tokyo.”
Along with the travel update, Diljit also shared details of his upcoming Europe Tour, which will begin with a performance in Berlin on August 21. The tour will include shows in Dublin on August 25, Paris on August 28, Vienna on August 30, Milan on September 5, Amsterdam on September 7, London on September 12, Birmingham on September 18 and Manchester on September 20.
Meanwhile, Diljit recently drew attention after extending support to students following a protest march to Parliament led by CJP, during which police action was alleged against participants.
Reacting to the issue, Diljit recalled the criticism he faced during the farmers’ protest when he was labelled “anti-national” for expressing support for the demonstrators. He said he expected similar criticism again but remained prepared to face it.
In a social media post, the singer said he had faced significant backlash and legal challenges after the farmers’ protest, adding that he believed “Baba” would take care of everything.
Known for his outspoken views on social issues and his global music presence, Diljit continues to balance his acting projects, international performances and public engagements.
