Actress Jannat Zubair made an emotional appearance on Lock Upp 2 to meet her close friend Shivangi Joshi, where she addressed the growing speculation surrounding Shivangi’s bond with fellow contestant Harshad Chopda.
During her interaction inside the reality show, Jannat advised Shivangi to stay focused on her game and not let outside developments affect her emotionally. However, she also pointed out that the closeness between Shivangi and Harshad was creating a strong perception, both among viewers and fellow contestants, that the two shared more than a friendship.
Jannat told Shivangi that whatever unfolds inside the house is being seen exactly the same way by audiences outside. She added that even contestants within the show believe the pair appear to be together, urging Shivangi to understand how their interactions are being interpreted.
According to Jannat, Harshad has been visibly emotional throughout the competition and frequently receives feedback from fellow contestants about his equation with Shivangi. She also noted that Shivangi’s own emotional responses have contributed to the narrative developing around them.
The interaction comes at a crucial stage of Lock Upp 2, with the finale drawing closer and contestants facing increasing scrutiny from both viewers and housemates.
Jannat, who recently emerged as the winner of the third season of Laughter Chef: Unlimited Fun alongside Aly Goni, is among television’s popular young actors. She has earned recognition through shows including Phulwa, Tu Aashiqui, Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 12.
Her latest project is Glory, directed by Karan Anshuman. The series, featuring Divyenndu, Pulkit Samrat and Suvinder Vicky, is set in a small-town boxing hub where two brothers investigate a murder while confronting family tensions and their relationship with their father, a celebrated boxing coach.
