Popular playback singer Shaan has unveiled his latest romantic track ‘Dildara’, a collaboration with singer Deedar Kaur, describing the song as an expression of love that quietly becomes a part of everyday emotions.
Sharing his thoughts on the track, Shaan said he wanted ‘Dildara’ to capture the warmth and intimacy of a relationship where two people become completely immersed in each other’s presence.
“Dildara is a song about the kind of love that quietly becomes a part of your every thought,” Shaan said.
The singer, known for chartbusters such as ‘Tanha Dil’, ‘Chand Sifarish’ and ‘Hey Shona’, added that the song was created with the hope that listeners who have experienced love would connect with their own memories and emotions through it.
‘Dildara’ is presented as a travel romance set against the picturesque locations of Thailand, featuring beaches, mountain roads and scenic landscapes that complement the song’s romantic theme.
Deedar Kaur said the track carries a joyful and emotional energy, making it a special experience to perform.
“Dildara has a beautiful energy to it. It is playful, emotional, and full of warmth, which made it such a joy to sing,” she said, adding that working with Shaan for the first time was a memorable experience.
Composed by Uddipan Sharma with lyrics penned by Shloke Lal, the song blends romance, adventure and melody to celebrate love and cherished moments.
‘Dildara’ is available on major audio streaming platforms and the Times Music YouTube channel.
Shaan, often referred to as the “Golden Voice of India”, has delivered numerous popular songs throughout his career, including ‘Musu Musu Haasi Deu’, ‘Koi Kahe Kehta Rahe’, ‘Woh Ladki Hai Kahan’, ‘Jab Se Tere Naina’ and ‘Behti Hawa Sa Tha Woh’.
