A heated confrontation unfolded inside the Lock Upp house after actress Akanksha Chamola accused fellow contestant Shreya Kalra of making insensitive remarks about her reported divorce from actor Gaurav Khanna.
The dispute began after Akanksha claimed she had been informed that Shreya had commented on her personal life and allegedly suggested that it was “good” the couple was separating because Gaurav “didn’t deserve that girl.”
Questioning Shreya’s comments, Akanksha challenged her for expressing opinions on a relationship she said Shreya knew nothing about.
“How much do you know Gaurav? Do you know him outside? Are you his friend? Why is he ‘Gaurav Ji’ to you? And why am I the witch?” Akanksha asked during the argument.
She further criticised Shreya for allegedly taking sides in a deeply personal matter, saying no one had the right to pass judgment on the dynamics of her marriage.
Shreya, however, denied making the alleged statements and maintained that she had neither intended to comment on the couple’s relationship nor portray Akanksha negatively. She urged Akanksha not to rely on information conveyed by others and attempted to clarify her position.
Akanksha remained unconvinced and said that commenting on someone’s failed marriage was insensitive. She told Shreya that similar remarks about her own past relationships would have been equally hurtful.
As the exchange intensified, Akanksha accused Shreya of changing her stand after another contestant joined the discussion and alleged that she was attempting to maintain a favourable image despite the cameras recording everything inside the house.
The confrontation concluded with Akanksha taking another swipe at Shreya’s strategy in the game, saying she would have respected her more had she openly accepted her actions instead of denying them.
