Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt received emotional birthday wishes from his twins, Shahraan and Iqra Dutt, as he celebrated his 67th birthday on Wednesday.
The actor’s children shared heartfelt messages on social media, expressing gratitude for his constant love, guidance and support while calling him the “best dad”.
Shahraan posted a picture with his father from what appeared to be a family function. The father-son duo was seen dressed in matching white traditional outfits, with Sanjay Dutt wearing sunglasses as they posed together.
Sharing the picture, Shahraan wrote that he was thankful for his father’s presence, encouragement and inspiration, while wishing him good health, happiness and many more years ahead.
Responding to his son’s message, Sanjay Dutt wrote, “I love you and I will always stand by you son.”
Iqra also shared a special moment with her father, posting a picture in which Sanjay Dutt is seen seated on a chair while embracing her. In her birthday note, she thanked him for always supporting her, making her smile and being a source of happiness in her life.
Sanjay Dutt married actress Maanayata Dutt in 2008, and the couple welcomed twins Shahraan and Iqra in October 2010.
Before his marriage to Maanayata, Sanjay was married to actress Richa Sharma, with whom he has a daughter, Trishala Dutt. Richa Sharma passed away in 1996 after a battle with a brain tumour.
Sanjay Dutt, the son of legendary actors Sunil Dutt and Nargis, has enjoyed a decades-long career in Hindi cinema and remains one of Bollywood’s most recognised actors.
