Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt marked Raksha Bandhan by sharing a heartfelt message for his sisters Priya and Anju, saying he feels blessed to have them in his life and is grateful for the bond they share.
The ‘Munna Bhai M.B.B.S.’ actor posted a series of rare childhood and family moments on Instagram while extending his wishes to his sisters on the festival celebrating the bond between brothers and sisters.
“Priya and Anju, I feel truly blessed to have you both as my sisters. Through every chapter of life, your love and support have been a constant. Grateful for the bond we share. Happy Raksha Bandhan,” Sanjay wrote.
Earlier in the day, Priya also shared a special message for her brother on social media, accompanying it with photographs from their childhood.
Recalling their years growing up together, Priya spoke about the memories, laughter, disagreements and understanding that have remained part of their relationship.
“From childhood memories to all that life has brought our way, some things never change. The love, the laughter, the arguments, the endless stories, the unspoken understanding… and the comfort of knowing that no matter where life takes us, we will always have each other,” she wrote.
She said the siblings had witnessed life changing around them, celebrated happy occasions together and stood by each other through difficult times.
“Happy Raksha Bandhan, Bhaiya. Here’s to all the memories we have made, all the years we have walked through together, Always grateful to have you as my brother,” Priya added.
Sanjay, Priya and Anju are the children of legendary actors Sunil Dutt and Nargis, who married in 1958.
