The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the final answer keys for all five subjects of the Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 examination, officials said on Saturday.
The agency announced the release on X, advising candidates who appeared for the examination to log in to the official examination portal using their credentials and access the final answer key for their respective subject.
The NTA Director (Exams), in a public notice, said candidates could view the final answer keys through their login credentials. Candidates have also been advised to regularly check the official Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 examination website for further updates.
The Joint CSIR-UGC NET examination is conducted to determine eligibility of Indian nationals for the award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor, appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to PhD, and admission to PhD only in Indian universities and colleges.
The NTA conducted several national-level examinations between June and July this year. Answer-key processing for three major examinations — UGC-NET, CSIR-NET and ICAR (AIEEA-PG and AICE-PhD) — covered a total of 184 subjects and papers, involving 24,700 distinct questions.
More than 10 lakh candidates registered for these examinations, with nearly 8 lakh candidates appearing. Sources said the large-scale exercise involved setting, moderating, translating, typesetting, administering and evaluating thousands of questions according to common standards.
Earlier this month, the NTA announced that it would re-conduct UGC-NET examinations for English, Sociology and Commerce after errors were detected in the question papers.
