The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released admit cards for 49 candidates who will appear for the re-examination of the All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) in Jaipur on September 1.
The re-examination was announced after the 49 candidates were unable to complete the AIAPGET on August 22 due to a power failure at their examination centre, Shri Satya Sai PG College in Jaipur.
According to the NTA, the re-examination will begin at 10 a.m. on September 1 at Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women, Jaipur.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the NTA said admit cards had been made available to all 49 affected candidates and advised them to download the documents from the official AIAPGET website and verify the details mentioned on them.
Candidates have been instructed to report at the examination centre specified on their admit cards according to the prescribed reporting time. They must carry a printed copy of the admit card along with all other documents and items listed in the document.
The NTA also advised candidates to regularly check its official website for further updates concerning the examination.
The original AIAPGET examination was conducted on August 22 for 36,979 registered candidates. According to the NTA, 35,837 candidates appeared in Shift-I across 200 examination centres nationwide, with 35,788 completing the examination.
At Shri Satya Sai PG College, 192 candidates appeared for the examination, but 49 were unable to complete it following the power failure. The NTA attributed the lapse to Eduquity Career Technologies Private Limited, the agency responsible for conducting the examination.
Following the incident, the NTA issued a show-cause notice to Eduquity Career Technologies Pvt Ltd over the disruption at the Jaipur centre.
The re-examination is being conducted specifically for the 49 affected candidates.
