Barnala, October 15, 2025 (Yes Punjab News)

The Trident Diwali Fair reached its grand crescendo as legendary Punjabi singer and actor Gurdas Maan mesmerized the audience with his electrifying performance at the Trident premises.

The night came alive with his soulful renditions of timeless hits such as “Chhalla,” “Dil Da Maal Hai,” “Ki Banu Duniya Da,” “Peer Teri Jaan Di,” “Apna Punjab Hove,” “Boot Polisha,” “Baba Bhangra Paunde Ne,” and “Bas Rahan Di Chhed Na Darda Nu.” His powerful voice and magnetic stage presence lit up the evening, leaving thousands of fans cheering and singing along in unison.

Organized under the guidance of Padma Shri Rajinder Gupta, Founder of Trident Group, the Diwali Fair witnessed an overwhelming response from residents of Barnala and neighbouring areas. The venue transformed into a vibrant hub of music, culture, and festive shopping.

When Gurdas Maan arrived on stage at around 8 p.m., the huge pandal filled with over 15,000 spectators gave him a standing ovation. Members of the Trident family, officers, employees, and thousands of Barnala city residents danced to the tunes of Maan’s songs.

At the beginning of the event, Gurdas Maan heartily congratulated Padmashree Rajendra Gupta, founder of the Trident Group, on his recent nomination to the Rajya Sabha. He said, “Just as Mr. Gupta has brought glory to Punjab in the industrial world, both nationally and internationally, he will now champion Punjab’s interests in the Rajya Sabha.”

Speaking on the occasion, Padma Shri Rajinder Gupta expressed his admiration for the artist, saying, Gurdas Maan is not only a musical legend but also the pride of Punjab. His contribution to music is invaluable, and having him perform on the Trident stage made the evening truly special. His songs carry the soul of our land and continue to inspire generations.”

During this musical gathering, which lasted nearly two and a half hours, people of all ages danced to the tunes. Maan also remembered the late Punjabi singer Rajveer Javandha from the stage, saying, “Rajveer gave a new direction to Punjabi music; his passing is an irreparable loss.” He then performed a soulful song in memory of Rajveer, further emphasizing the emotional atmosphere.

Stalls featuring Trident’s premium towels, bedsheets, bathrobes, and blankets drew huge crowds eager to make the most of the ‘Trident Dhamaka Sale’. Initially set to end on October 13, the sale has now been extended till October 17 in response to tremendous public enthusiasm.

With culture, music, and community spirit woven together, the Trident Diwali Fair once again showcased the brand’s commitment to celebrating tradition, togetherness, and the radiant spirit of Diwali.

These included Aam Aadmi Party constituency in-charge Harinder Dhaliwal, Meet Hayer’s OSD Hasanpreet Bhardwaj, District Cricket Association President Vivek Sindhwani, SC Commission Punjab member Rupinder Sheetal Bunty, AAP Youth Wing District President Ishwinder Jandu, SDM Barnala Sonam, SDM Tapa Ayush Kumar, SPD Ashok Sharma, DSP Satvir Singh Bains, DSP Kulwant Singh, CIA in-charge Inspector Baljit Singh, BJP General Secretary Narendra Garg Neeta, Colonizer Ravi Prakash Agarwal, senior leader Raj Dhaula, city councilors Dharam Singh Fauji and Harbakhshish Singh Goni, Satish Cheema, Trident Group’s admin head Rupinder Gupta, Anil Gupta, and Sahil Gulati, along with a large number of city residents.
