Chandigarh, August 22, 2026 (Yes Punjab News)
The Punjab Government has ordered the postings of 10 IAS officers of the 2024 batch, appointing them as Officers on Special Duty (Urban Affairs) with Deputy Commissioners in different districts of the state.
All 10 officers have been given fresh assignments on their return from Phase-II training. The orders have been issued on administrative grounds with immediate effect by Punjab Chief Secretary K.A.P. Sinha. The government order is dated August 21, 2026.
As per the orders, Gurleen, IAS, has been posted as Officer on Special Duty (Urban Affairs) to the Deputy Commissioner, Pathankot.
Abhimanyu Malik, IAS, has been posted as OSD (Urban Affairs) to the Deputy Commissioner, Amritsar, while Shivansh Rathee, IAS, has also been posted as OSD (Urban Affairs) to the Deputy Commissioner, Amritsar.
Harshita Sharma, IAS, has been posted as OSD (Urban Affairs) to the Deputy Commissioner, Moga, while Shivansh Asthana, IAS, has been posted as OSD (Urban Affairs) to the Deputy Commissioner, Jalandhar.
Lindhiyal L An, IAS, has been posted as OSD (Urban Affairs) to the Deputy Commissioner, SAS Nagar.
Pragati Rani, IAS, has been posted as OSD (Urban Affairs) to the Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana.
Oishee Mandal, IAS, has been posted as OSD (Urban Affairs) to the Deputy Commissioner, Hoshiarpur.
Piyusha Burdak, IAS, has been posted as OSD (Urban Affairs) to the Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana.
Mulkian R, IAS, has been posted as OSD (Urban Affairs) to the Deputy Commissioner, Patiala.
The order, issued by the Punjab Department of Personnel’s IAS Branch, states that the postings have been made on administrative grounds and will take effect immediately.
