Khloé Kardashian is set to expand the Kardashian media empire with an all-new Hulu reality series titled Calabasas Behind the Gates. Announced during Hulu’s inaugural “Get Real House” event on April 22, the show will offer a fresh lens into the exclusive lives of the Kardashian-Jenners’ close friends and neighbors in their elite Calabasas community.
“It’s very exciting, very new, very excellent,” said Khloé during the panel appearance, alongside longtime family friend and media personality Scott Disick.

Rob Mills, EVP at Disney Entertainment, elaborated on the concept, noting that the spin-off will explore the “extended lives” connected to the Kardashians. “We all want to know what’s happening behind the gates of Calabasas—who are all these people in the extended lives of the Kardashians?”
While Khloé remained tight-lipped about whether her famous siblings Kim, Kourtney, Kendall, Kylie, and mom Kris Jenner would appear in the series, she confirmed the family has a say in creative control, especially when it comes to editing.
Equal Pay, Full Control, and Family Dynamics
Khloé confirmed that all Kardashian-Jenner family members are paid equally for their appearances on Hulu’s existing show The Kardashians. She also revealed they have the right to cut certain content, mostly for vanity or personal comfort.
Interestingly, she named Kourtney Kardashian as the sibling most likely to use this privilege—often asking editors to remove overused words like “like” rather than for storyline concerns.

While Rob Kardashian has remained mostly out of the public eye, Khloé expressed hope that her brother would return to their main Hulu show. “I really do,” she said. “I always have my faith and confidence in Rob.”
