Innocent Hearts Group, under the aegis of DISHA – An Initiative managed by the Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust (BMEMT), organised an Education Conclave on the theme “Heart, Mind & Machine” at its Loharan campus, bringing together more than 100 CBSE school principals, educators and academic leaders from across the region.
The conclave focused on the evolving role of artificial intelligence in education while emphasising the need to preserve human values, empathy and ethics in the learning process.
Welcoming the participants, Dr. Palak Gupta Bowry, CSR Director of Innocent Hearts Group, highlighted the vision of the institution’s founder, Late Mrs. Kamlesh Bowry, of providing quality education rooted in moral values and holistic development.
CBSE Ludhiana Regional Officer Sanjay Kumar Bisht attended the event as the Chief Guest, accompanied by Sandeep Rajpal, Principal Private Secretary. The programme began with the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony and a cultural presentation themed on ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’.
Addressing the gathering, Bisht encouraged educators to continue striving for excellence in teaching and learning while adapting to changing educational needs.
The conclave featured keynote sessions by prominent educationists on topics including the integration of technology in classrooms, inclusive education, parent-school partnerships, digital pedagogy and the ethical use of artificial intelligence.
Experts emphasised that while AI has the potential to transform education, it should complement rather than replace the human touch in teaching. Interactive panel discussions explored digital pedagogy, bridging the digital divide and creating inclusive learning environments.
During the event, Dr. Anup Bowry, Chairman of Innocent Hearts Group, and Dr. Palak Gupta Bowry honoured the Chief Guest and other dignitaries with mementoes in recognition of their contribution.
The conclave concluded with a felicitation ceremony, networking session and vote of thanks, reaffirming the importance of balancing technological innovation with compassion and human values in education.
