Singer-composer Amaal Mallik has intensified his public feud with fellow music composer Tanishk Bagchi, accusing him of copying songs, using AI-generated vocals, manipulating public perception through public relations campaigns and attempting to undermine the release of his latest track, Yeh Awarapan.
In a series of posts on X, Amaal made several personal and professional allegations against Bagchi, referring to him as the “Zazooo of the music industry” and questioning his artistic credibility.
Among other claims, Amaal alleged that Bagchi had relied on artificial intelligence to create vocals while presenting them as genuine, and accused him of trying to generate publicity by releasing music on the same day as Yeh Awarapan. He also claimed that Bagchi had harmed the careers of several singers and emerging artists.
The singer further criticised what he described as coordinated PR efforts and challenged Bagchi to communicate directly with him instead of through intermediaries.
The latest remarks are part of an ongoing online exchange between the two composers. Earlier, Amaal had alleged that an organised public relations campaign was attempting to discredit his latest release, though he did not name anyone at the time.
Bagchi had not publicly responded to Amaal’s latest allegations at the time of filing this report.
The exchange has sparked widespread discussion on social media, with fans closely following the escalating dispute between the two music composers.
