Keeping health at priority, Disha : an initiative, run and managed by Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust organised a seminar at Innocent Hearts School, on cervical cancer for its girl students and staff. It was organized in collaboration with Phulkari, Conquer Cancer Organization. The event aimed to educate and empower girls and women about the importance of early detection and prevention of cervical cancer.
During the seminar. Mrs. Dipti Sardana, Conquer Cancer Programme Head , Dr. Amita Sharma renowned Gynaecologist and Technical head of Conquer Cancer Programme ,
Mrs. Puja Arora -Special Educator and facilitator Conquer Cancer Programme , Adwaita Tiwari Vice – President Phulkari women of Jalandhar and Mrs Monal Kalsi secretary Phulkari.
Renowned experts shared valuable insights and guidelines on , causes and symptoms of cervical cancer , Importance of vaccination and screening ,Healthy lifestyle choices for prevention, Latest medical advancements and treatment options.
Dr Palak Gupta Bowry, CSR Director, Innocent Hearts mentioned that “This initiative is crucial for spreading awareness and promoting women’s health. We’re committed to fostering a healthy and informed community.”
