Bollywood singer Afsana Khan has informed her fans that her official Instagram account has been hacked and appealed to them not to interact with any messages, links or posts originating from the account until she confirms that it has been successfully recovered.
The singer, who has recently won widespread appreciation for her songs in the blockbuster film Dhurandhar, shared the update through a video message released by her team. In the message, she expressed disappointment over the incident and strongly criticised the misuse of social media accounts.
Afsana said Instagram has been her primary platform for connecting with fans and sharing updates related to her music, live performances and personal milestones. Calling the incident unacceptable, she said, “Whoever has done this has done something very wrong. Instagram is where we share all our personal and professional updates, our shows and our daily activities. Misusing someone’s account like this is completely unacceptable.”
The singer assured her followers that the account recovery process has already been initiated and the matter has been reported to the concerned team. She expressed confidence that access to the account would be restored soon.
Ending her message on a hopeful note, Afsana said, “We have submitted the account for recovery and I will be getting it back soon. With Mahadev’s blessings, everything will be solved.”
Until the account is officially restored, she has urged fans to remain vigilant and ignore any suspicious messages or activity from her Instagram profile.
Afsana Khan has been enjoying the success of her recent track Tere Naal Nachna from Dhurandhar, which has gained significant popularity among young audiences on social media. Over the years, she has delivered several chart-topping songs and also appeared as a contestant on the reality television show Bigg Boss.
