Actress Karisma Kapoor has shared how motherhood influenced her approach while judging the third season of Fevicreate Idea Labs, saying the experience helped her better understand the creativity, imagination and thought process of young minds.
Speaking about the initiative, Karisma said the platform was not just about evaluating performances but about listening to children’s ideas and encouraging their curiosity.
“What I loved most about Fevicreate Idea Labs was that it celebrates something every child naturally has — curiosity and imagination. We often associate judging with performance, but here it was about listening to ideas, understanding how young minds think and encouraging them to dream a little bigger,” she said.
The actress added that interacting with children was inspiring because of their honesty and originality. She said being a mother made the experience more meaningful and expressed hope that children continue to explore, create and believe in their ideas.
The four-episode grand finale of the show will air over two weekends on Nickelodeon and JioHotstar. Karisma will mentor and celebrate young innovators shortlisted across two age categories — 5 to 8 years and 9 to 14 years.
The finalists, selected from more than three lakh applicants, will present their ideas across themes including art, well-being and science.
Karisma is currently appearing as a judge on the dance reality show “India’s Best Dancer Season 5” alongside Geeta Kapur and Terence Lewis, with Haarsh Limbachiyaa as the host.
On the acting front, Karisma was last seen in the neo-noir psychological crime thriller series “Brown”, where she played investigator Rita Brown. The series premiered on ZEE5 on June 5, 2026.
Reflecting on the character, Karisma had earlier said that while she had portrayed several strong female roles during her career spanning more than three decades, Rita Brown stood apart because her strength came from vulnerability, silence and resilience.
She said the role remained personally significant even after filming ended, describing the journey as transformative.
