Actors Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee and Varun Sharma have come together for a special friendship anthem titled ‘Kahaan’, ahead of International Friendship Day, celebrating the bond they share both on and off screen.
Aparshakti revealed that the idea behind the song emerged during a casual dinner conversation, when the three friends began reminiscing about childhood memories, school days and friendships from a simpler time.
“It just happened during an evening dinner where three of us were sitting together. We were revisiting childhood memories, school friends and the innocence that friendships carried in those days. The idea struck, and we thought why not revive that kind of friendship in a music video,” Aparshakti said.
The actor added that the song reflects their decision to remain close friends despite being part of a large and competitive film industry. He described ‘Kahaan’ as a tribute to friendships that provide a sense of belonging and comfort.
The music video holds a personal connection for Aparshakti as some of its sequences were filmed at his own school, bringing back memories from his childhood.
Abhishek Banerjee said the project gave him an opportunity to explore the music space while creating something personal with his friends. He added that the experience felt less like a professional assignment and more like reliving moments filled with laughter and joy.
Varun Sharma said the song captures the genuine friendship between the three actors and that viewers will see the real bond they share reflected on screen.
Beyond friendship, ‘Kahaan’ also explores the idea of brotherhood and celebrates relationships that may not be connected by blood but hold deep emotional value.
The anthem brings together everyday moments, nostalgia and the warmth of friendships that continue to remain special over the years.
