Actress Raashii Khanna has shared her appreciation for a special gift from Tamil superstar Rajinikanth, revealing that a book gifted by the veteran actor during the shooting of their upcoming film ‘Dharman’ has left a lasting impression on her.
Taking to Instagram on Friday, Raashii shared a video in which she spoke about receiving a copy of ‘Living with the Himalayan Masters’ from Rajinikanth while they were working together on the sets of the film.
The actress said the gift came during a conversation about spirituality between the two actors. She revealed that Rajinikanth asked whether she had read the book, and when she said she had not, he brought her a copy two days later.
Raashii said she had been reading the book regularly over the past few weeks, adding that Rajinikanth had even told her that he would test her on what she learned from it.
She described the book as a meaningful experience and said several passages made her pause and reflect. According to the actress, her biggest takeaway was understanding why people often feel disconnected from themselves.
She said the book made her reflect on how people can lose touch with their true selves while trying to become someone else over time, adding that moments of silence can bring deeper self-awareness.
Meanwhile, ‘Dharman’, featuring Rajinikanth and Raashii Khanna, has generated significant interest since its announcement. The Tamil film is being directed by Ashwath Marimuthu and is among the much-awaited upcoming projects in Tamil cinema.
Raashii Khanna was last seen in ‘The Sabarmati Report’ and continues to be associated with projects across multiple film industries.
