Social media influencer Shreya Kalra emerged as the winner of reality show ‘Lock Upp 2: Sach Ya Sazaa’ after a six-week-long journey filled with emotional moments, challenges and intense competition.
Shreya lifted the trophy after receiving the highest number of votes in the grand finale. Her performance throughout the season earned appreciation from viewers as well as fellow contestants.
Television actress Shivangi Joshi finished as the first runner-up, while Yogesh Rawat secured the second runner-up position. Popular contestants Ram Kapoor and Shilpa Shinde were eliminated just before the final showdown.
In the finale, the top five contestants — Shreya, Shivangi, Yogesh, Ram and Shilpa — faced a series of challenges. In the first task, contestants were asked to complete a puzzle, with the contestant making the most incorrect moves being eliminated. Ram Kapoor lost the challenge and exited the race, leaving Shreya, Shivangi, Yogesh and Shilpa as the remaining contenders.
In the next round, Yogesh was tasked with convincing Shilpa, Shreya and Shivangi to choose a box marked ‘terminated’. Shilpa selected the wrong box and was eliminated from the competition.
The final three contestants — Shreya, Shivangi and Yogesh — then faced tough questions from the media and a jury comprising actors.
During the questioning round, Awez Darbar accused Shreya of influencing her former partner to make certain allegations against him during his participation in ‘Bigg Boss 19’, which he claimed affected his image on social media.
Actress Mannara Chopra questioned Shivangi Joshi about her equation with co-contestant Harshad Chopda and alleged that she influenced him to give up his finale position to make her the first finalist. Yogesh was also questioned over his behaviour and attitude during the show.
Following the jury’s voting, Yogesh was eliminated from the winner’s race. The final contest was then between Shreya and Shivangi.
The winner was decided through votes from former contestants, jury members and jailers Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh. With the maximum votes in her favour, Shreya Kalra was declared the winner of ‘Lock Upp 2’.
