Bollywood actress Kajol marked the beginning of her 52nd birthday with a fitness-focused surprise, calling it her “first and most useful gift of the day”.
The actress shared a picture of a pair of black dumbbells placed on a gym floor on her social media account, giving fans a glimpse of her healthy birthday routine.
Sharing the image, Kajol wrote, “First and most useful gift of the day #birthdayvibes grammar is forgiven today since it’s the #specialday.”
Adding to the birthday celebrations, Kajol’s younger sister and actress Tanishaa Mukherji shared a candid picture of the siblings laughing together. Wishing Kajol on her special day, Tanishaa wrote, “My darling Kaddy may we always be laughing through life! Happy Birthday my beautiful sis. Love you!”
Kajol is regarded as one of Hindi cinema’s most successful actresses. She made her acting debut with “Bekhudi” in 1992 and went on to deliver memorable performances in films such as “Baazigar”, “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge”, “Gupt”, “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai”, “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham”, “Fanaa”, “My Name Is Khan”, “Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior” and “Salaam Venky”.
On the personal front, Kajol is married to actor Ajay Devgn. The couple, who tied the knot in 1999, have two children — daughter Nysa and son Yug.
On the work front, Kajol was last seen in the mythological horror film “Maa”, where she portrayed a protective mother. She also appeared in “Sarzameen”, which featured Ibrahim Ali Khan.
The actress recently made her debut as a talk show host with “Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle”, co-hosted with former actress and author Twinkle Khanna.
