Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan has shared a glimpse of his fitness routine, saying that striking a pose during workouts adds to the fun.
The actor took to Instagram to post two shirtless selfies from a gym session. In the pictures, Varun is seen standing beside a cable machine with his hands raised above his head, highlighting his toned arms, defined abs and muscular physique.
Sharing the pictures, Varun wrote, “Aap bhi workout ke saath pose karo maazaaa atta hain” (You should pose while working out too… it’s so much fun!).
Varun was recently seen in the romantic comedy “Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai”, directed by his father David Dhawan. The film also features Mrunal Thakur, Pooja Hegde, Maniesh Paul, Chunky Panday, Jimmy Sheirgill and Mouni Roy. It is expected to be David Dhawan’s final directorial venture.
The actor made his Bollywood debut in 2012 with Karan Johar’s “Student of the Year” alongside Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra. Before entering acting, he worked as an assistant director on Shah Rukh Khan-starrer “My Name Is Khan”.
Varun went on to establish himself with films including “Main Tera Hero”, “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania”, “Badrinath Ki Dulhania”, “Dilwale”, “Dishoom”, “Judwaa 2”, “ABCD 2” and “Sui Dhaaga”. He also earned critical appreciation for his performances in “Badlapur” and “October”.
Recently, Varun marked 10 years of his action-comedy film “Dishoom” by sharing nostalgic pictures with co-stars John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez. Directed by Rohit Dhawan, the 2016 film featured Varun and John as police officers who team up for a 36-hour mission to rescue a missing Indian cricketer.
