Saanvie Tallwar Speaks on Allegations Against Karan Kundrra, Says Victims Should Speak When Ready

Mumbai, July 26, 2026 (Yes Punjab News)

Television actress Saanvie Tallwar has spoken about the abuse allegations she previously levelled against actor Karan Kundrra, saying that survivors should come forward only when they feel ready and comfortable sharing their experiences.

In an interaction with IANS, Saanvie reflected on the controversy that drew public attention during her career and said she has learned the importance of speaking out on her own terms.

“I have learned that I should speak when I genuinely feel ready to do so. Earlier, I chose to speak only to those whom I felt it was important to talk to. As stories pass from one person to another, they often get distorted. Today, I am comfortable speaking openly because it is my choice,” she said.

Asked why she spoke about the matter much later, the actress said there is no fixed timeline for sharing such experiences.

“I want to tell every woman that if something wrong has happened to you and you were unable to speak about it earlier, it is never too late. Come forward when you feel ready. If you never speak about your experiences, people will never know the truth,” she added.

Saanvie had earlier alleged that Karan Kundrra kissed her without her consent and slapped her while they were working together on the television show Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum. She had also claimed that producer Ekta Kapoor intervened after the incident and that changes were subsequently made to the show’s direction team.

Karan Kundrra’s response to these allegations was not included in the IANS report.
