Influencer and reality show contestant Apoorva Makhija expressed her displeasure over actor Ram Kapoor’s repeated kisses towards fellow contestant Shreya Kalra during a recent episode of ‘Lock Upp’ Season 2.
The incident took place during the reality show’s ‘Truth or Lie’ challenge, where Apoorva was assigned the secret task of judging whether Ram Kapoor and Varun Yadav, also known as Laila, were answering questions truthfully. She was required to secretly indicate her responses to the camera.
During the task, Ram was asked whether Shreya gets irritated because he frequently kisses her. Ram admitted that she does, and Apoorva signalled that she believed his response was true.
Later, Shreya reportedly spoke with Apoorva about the matter and said that Ram often kissed her on the cheeks and forehead during tasks. She also claimed that his behaviour would suddenly change afterward, which left her irritated.
Actress Shilpa Shinde also recalled an earlier incident in which Ram had kissed Shreya during a task. Reacting to the discussion, Apoorva appeared upset and said, “Bhai yeh kiss kyun karte rehte hain? Mujhe gussa aa raha hai” (Why does he keep kissing? I am getting angry).
The conversation comes days after Ram Kapoor faced criticism from some viewers following an episode where he kissed Shreya on the cheek after a task. He was also discussed online after another moment in which he kissed contestant Akanksha Chamola’s hand during a conversation.
In a separate exchange on the show, Ram had also attracted attention when Apoorva asked him what he would like to do after leaving the show. The actor replied that he wanted to spend time with his wife, Gautami Kapoor.
