Guru Nanak Dev University has appointed Heads of various academic departments. The newly appointed Heads assumed charge of their respective departments today.
As per the office orders, Registrar Dr. K. S. Chahal informed that Dr. Satvinder Jeet Kaur has been appointed as Head of the Department of Botanical and Environmental Sciences, Dr. Sumneet Kaur as Head of the Department of English, Dr. Sarabjit Kaur as Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dr. Satnam Singh as Head of the Department of Political Science, and Dr. Sunil as Head of the Department of Hindi.
In addition, Dr. Boota Singh has been appointed as Head of the Department of Engineering and Technology at the GNDU Regional Campus, Jalandhar.
Prof. Karamjeet Singh, Vice Chancellor, extended his best wishes to the newly appointed Heads of Departments and said that under their leadership, the departments would achieve greater heights in academic excellence, research, and innovation. He expressed confidence that the new Heads would significantly contribute to strengthening the University’s vision of quality education and world-class research.
