BJP’s conspiracy to incite riots in Punjab exposed once again: Malvinder Singh Kang

New Delhi/Punjab, Jan 18, 2026 (Yes Punjab News)

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)’s MP from Punjab Malvinder Singh Kang called out the BJP for deliberately insulting the Sikh Guru Sahiban to incite riots, saying the party’s conspiracy has once again been exposed. Citing the Jalandhar court and a subsequent forensic report from Delhi, he said it has been conclusively proven that Delhi Assembly Leader of Opposition (LoP) Atishi did not use the word “Guru.”

He said the BJP’s hostility towards Sikhs is well known, recalling that the party had earlier even made cartoons of the Sahibzadas, and demanded that the BJP apologise to Sikhs across the world for the ‘beadbi’ (sacrilege) to the Guru Sahiban.

In a video statement on X, AAP MP Malvinder Singh Kang stated, “The BJP’s politics of dividing society, inciting riots in the country, and insulting the Guru Sahibs has once again been completely exposed. After the orders of the Jalandhar court, the second forensic report that has now come has also proven that former Delhi CM and Delhi Assembly LoP Atishi did not mention the Guru Sahibs anywhere.”

Referring to a video circulated by the BJP, he continued, “The video posted by BJP Delhi minister Kapil Mishra, which claims to show an insult to the Guru Sahibs, is completely fraudulent and has been tampered with. The BJP prepared this video solely to spread hatred in society and to insult the Guru Sahibs.”

Raising questions before the PM and the BJP National President, he asked, “Will they still keep leaders like Kapil Mishra in the party? What kind of politics do they want to give to the country? The BJP is even tampering with the proceedings inside the Delhi Legislative Assembly. Videos are being edited only to spread hatred and insult the Guru Sahibs.”

The AAP MP asserted, “This is the BJP’s mentality when it comes to the Sikh community and the Sikh faith. This is not the first time. Even earlier, the BJP had depicted the Guru Sahibs in cartoon form. The entire world now knows that the BJP harbours hatred towards the Sikh religion and the Guru Sahibs. They keep hatching such conspiracies to pursue their cheap and petty politics.”

Citing the findings of forensic investigations, Malvinder Singh Kang said, “Both forensic reports have proved that former Delhi CM Atishi did not use the word ‘Guru’ anywhere. The Speaker of the Delhi Legislative Assembly too is, in some way, indulging in petty politics, which the Aam Aadmi Party strongly condemns.”

Highlighting the wider response from the Sikh community, he added, “Every Sikh sitting anywhere in the world has understood this petty politics of the BJP. The BJP has been completely exposed for not refraining from insulting the Guru Sahibs even during the 350th birth anniversary commemorations, just for its vote bank politics. The global ‘Guru Nanak Nam Leva Sangat’ will never forgive this politics of the BJP.”
