Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor celebrated her husband Anand Ahuja’s birthday with an emotional note, describing him as her “safest place” and expressing gratitude for his constant support and companionship.
Sonam shared a series of photographs capturing different phases of their relationship, from their early days together to their wedding and journey into parenthood. Alongside the pictures, she penned a heartfelt message for Anand.
“Dear Anand, Thank you for being my safest place, my biggest supporter, my favourite travel companion, my sounding board, my reality check. Happy Birthday to my favourite human. I’d choose you in every lifetime. I love you more than you’ll ever know,” she wrote.
Sonam and Anand Ahuja tied the knot in May 2018 after dating for several years. The couple welcomed their first child, son Vayu, in August 2022. They became parents for the second time in March 2026 with the arrival of their son Rudralokh Kapoor Ahuja.
On the professional front, Sonam was last seen in the 2023 crime thriller ‘Blind’, directed by Shome Makhija. The film, which also featured Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak and Lillete Dubey, was a remake of the 2011 Korean film of the same name.
Sonam began her film journey as an assistant director on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2005 film ‘Black’ before making her acting debut with Bhansali’s ‘Saawariya’ in 2007.
After initial struggles, she gained recognition with ‘Raanjhanaa’ in 2013 and went on to appear in several successful films, including ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’, ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, ‘Neerja’, ‘Sanju’ and ‘Veere Di Wedding’.
