All Party Sikh Coordination Committee (APSCC) Chairman and senior political leader Jagmohan Singh Raina on Saturday condemned the recent terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam district that resulted in the death of two non-local labourers.
Speaking to Salaam TV reporter Showkat Beigh, Raina described the attack as a “cowardly and inhuman act” and said such incidents must be condemned by all sections of society.
He expressed condolences to the bereaved families of the victims and prayed for strength and courage for them during the difficult period.
Raina demanded a thorough and transparent investigation into the incident, pointing out that it was the second such attack reported within a span of 10 days. He said the recurrence of such incidents was a serious concern and urged the administration and security agencies to identify those behind the attack and ensure that they are brought to justice at the earliest.
The APSCC chairman said such acts are intended to disturb peace and communal harmony in Jammu and Kashmir. He appealed to people across communities to remain united against terrorism and continue maintaining harmony in the region.
