Four Civilians Killed in Alleged Pakistan Drone Strike on House in Balochistan’s Khuzdar

Quetta, July 31, 2026 (Yes Punjab News)

At least four civilians were killed and another person sustained critical injuries after an alleged drone strike targeted a residential house in Balochistan’s Khuzdar district on Friday, according to the human rights organisation Baloch Voice for Justice (BVJ).

The rights body identified three of the deceased as Irfan, Mir Gul and Ali Gul, while the identity of the fourth victim had not been established at the time of reporting. A man identified as Munir was seriously injured in the incident and was shifted to Karachi for advanced medical treatment, where he remains in critical condition, the organisation said.

The alleged strike took place in the Moola Manjalo area of Khuzdar. Condemning the incident, BVJ described it as a grave act of violence against civilians and alleged that it reflected a continuing pattern of attacks in the region.

The organisation claimed that similar drone strikes reported earlier in the Moola and Zehri areas had also resulted in civilian casualties. It urged international human rights organisations to take cognisance of the incident, conduct independent investigations and work towards ensuring accountability for those responsible.

The latest allegations come amid reports of intensified military operations in several parts of Balochistan. Local media have reported recent shelling and aerial operations in Wadh, Ornach and Zehri, with claims that civilian areas have been affected.

Earlier this week, another civilian was reportedly killed in shelling in the Wadh area of Khuzdar. Last week, one person lost his life and several others, including women and children, were injured after shelling in the Drakhalaw-Gaslaiti area. The incident prompted local residents to stage a highway protest, accusing Pakistani security forces of targeting civilian settlements.

Human rights groups have repeatedly raised concerns over alleged enforced disappearances, extrajudicial killings and military operations in Balochistan, calling for independent investigations into reported violations.
