Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) President Sardar Harmeet Singh Kalka and General Secretary Sardar Jagdeep Singh Kahlon have extended their warm greetings to Sikh devotees in India and across the world on the completion day of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
In their message, Kalka and Kahlon said Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is an eternal source of spiritual light and guidance for all humanity. They said the sacred Gurbani contained in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji shows people the path of truth, humility, service, love, equality and brotherhood.
The two leaders appealed to the Sikh community to mark the sacred occasion by resolving to make the teachings of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji the foundation of their lives and to put into practice its principles of welfare of humanity, Sarbat da Bhala (welfare of all) and social harmony.
They said the sacred Gurbani conveys a universal message of peace, harmony and Chardi Kala (positive resilience and spiritual upliftment) to humanity. They stressed the need for people to embrace this universal message in their daily lives and further strengthen the spirit of love, service and brotherhood in society.
Kalka and Kahlon said the teachings of Gurbani inspire people to uphold mutual respect, tolerance and the welfare of humanity. They urged the community to follow the path shown by Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and work for the welfare of all.
