Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty turned sentimental on Saturday as he wished his wife Mana Shetty on her birthday, describing her as his “calm”, “strength” and “home” while joking that it is “tough keeping up” with her.
Sharing a romantic photograph with his arms around Mana’s shoulders on Instagram, Suniel wrote, “Through every phase, every high and every storm. My calm My strength My home. Here’s to you – today and always. Love you endlessly. Tough Keeping up with you…Happy Birthday Wifey (sic).”
Suniel and Mana married on December 25, 1991, after being in a relationship for nearly a decade. They have two children, daughter Athiya Shetty and son Ahan Shetty.
Athiya also marked her mother’s birthday with an Instagram post, calling Mana her “whole wide world” and saying that “nothing is right without you, Mama”. Ahan shared an unseen photograph with his mother and simply wished her a happy birthday.
The birthday celebrations come days after Suniel and Mana visited the Golden Temple in Amritsar to offer prayers. Videos from their religious visit surfaced on social media, including one showing the couple outside the shrine with folded hands. Another clip showed Suniel buying aam papad for Mana.
On the professional front, Suniel was last seen in the comedy film Welcome to the Jungle, which features an ensemble cast including Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, Jackie Shroff, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Disha Patani and Jacqueline Fernandez, among others.
He is set to return as Shyam in the next instalment of the popular Hera Pheri franchise, reuniting with Akshay Kumar. Suniel is also part of an upcoming action thriller opposite Tiger Shroff, directed by Sachin Ravi.
