PM Modi Meets 37 BJP MPs Over Breakfast at His Residence During Parliament Session

New Delhi, August 5, 2026 (Yes Punjab News)

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday hosted a breakfast meeting with 37 Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Members of Parliament at his official residence as part of his regular interaction with party lawmakers during the Monsoon Session of Parliament.

The informal meeting is part of Prime Minister Modi’s practice of engaging with different groups of BJP MPs during parliamentary sessions to discuss governance issues, parliamentary functioning and matters related to party coordination.

According to sources, the Prime Minister shared personal experiences with the MPs and held informal discussions on various issues during the interaction.

Those present at the meeting included BJP MPs associated with the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) alliance, former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders who later joined the BJP, along with senior party leaders such as Tarun Chugh, Vinod Tawde and BJP president Nitin Nabin.

The meeting comes amid the ongoing Monsoon Session of Parliament, where the government is pursuing its legislative agenda while also holding regular engagements with lawmakers outside the House.

Prime Minister Modi has frequently hosted such breakfast meetings with groups of BJP parliamentarians during Parliament sessions. These interactions allow MPs to share feedback from their constituencies, discuss policy matters and parliamentary strategy, and communicate directly with the Prime Minister in an informal atmosphere.

The Monsoon Session began on July 20 and is scheduled to continue until August 13, with 19 sittings. Before the session began, Prime Minister Modi had called for constructive discussions and smooth functioning of Parliament, emphasising the importance of meaningful debates and collective efforts towards national development.

The ongoing session has witnessed discussions on several legislative matters, including issues related to economic policy, public examinations and national security. However, opposition protests have also resulted in repeated disruptions in both Houses.

The breakfast interaction reflects the BJP leadership’s continued effort to maintain direct communication with MPs, gather feedback on governance and constituency concerns, and strengthen coordination during the parliamentary session.
