The Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) has received a contribution of ₹1 crore from Surender Pal Singh Saluja and his family, with DSGMC President Harmeet Singh Kalka describing the donation as a symbol of selfless service and commitment towards the Sikh Panth.
Kalka said the DSGMC was honoured to acknowledge the Saluja family’s generosity and appreciated their support for the committee’s efforts in promoting Sikh faith, education, healthcare, humanitarian assistance and social welfare initiatives.
He said the contribution was not only a financial support but also reflected the family’s faith and confidence in the DSGMC’s mission of serving humanity and working for the welfare of society.
Kalka added that such acts of philanthropy encourage others to come forward and contribute towards community service and charitable causes.
DSGMC General Secretary Jagdeep Singh Kahlon also expressed gratitude to Surender Pal Singh Saluja and his family for their support. He said the contribution would strengthen the committee’s efforts to serve the Sikh community and society with greater dedication.
Kahlon offered prayers to Almighty Waheguru for the family’s good health, prosperity, happiness and continued strength to carry forward the spirit of selfless service.
