The Jalandhar Urban Youth Congress once again demonstrated its strong organizational strength and unity by giving a grand welcome to Punjab Youth Congress President Shuvam Sharma at four different locations across Jalandhar.
Despite continuous rainfall and a delay of nearly two hours in the State President’s arrival due to his ongoing tour, hundreds of Youth Congress workers remained present with unwavering enthusiasm, waiting patiently to welcome their leader.
The grand reception at all four locations reflected the dedication, discipline, and commitment of the Youth Congress workers of Jalandhar Urban, who stood in the rain for hours to ensure a memorable welcome.
Speaking to the media, Angad Dutta, District President, Jalandhar Urban Youth Congress, said:
“The enthusiasm shown by our workers today reflects the commitment and unity of the Youth Congress in Jalandhar Urban. Despite heavy rain and a delay in the schedule, our workers remained present in large numbers. This spirit motivates us to work even harder to strengthen the organization and raise the voice of the youth across Jalandhar.”
Addressing the gathering, Punjab Youth Congress President Shuvam Sharma thanked every worker for the overwhelming reception and praised the dedication of the Jalandhar Urban Youth Congress.
He said:
“I reached Jalandhar nearly two hours behind schedule, yet the Youth Congress workers of Doaba waited patiently for me. Even though it was raining heavily, hundreds of Youth Congress workers remained present to welcome me. The grand welcome at four different locations in Jalandhar clearly proves that the Youth Congress is highly active in Jalandhar Urban under the leadership of Angad Dutta. I sincerely thank every worker who stood in the rain and waited for my arrival. Their dedication and commitment have truly impressed me.”
Shuvam Sharma further said that as part of his Shukrana Yatra, he would pay obeisance at Sri Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple), Amritsar, and also visit Shri Durgiana Mandir to seek the blessings of the Almighty for peace, prosperity, and progress in Punjab. He said that with the blessings of the people and the Almighty, the Punjab Youth Congress would continue working to strengthen the organization in every district of the state.
