Actor and fitness enthusiast Milind Soman recently bumped into veteran actor Gulshan Grover at an airport and shared a fun moment with him on social media.
Soman posted a selfie with Grover on Instagram on Sunday. Another photograph featured Soman and his wife, Ankita Konwar, posing with Grover at the airport.
“Sabka dost kaun? We meet agaiounn !!! IYKYK,” Soman captioned the post.
The reunion also brought back memories of the actors’ previous collaboration in the 2002 action thriller 16 December, directed by Mani Shankar. Soman played Vikram, a former intelligence officer brought back to investigate financial crimes linked to terrorism, while Grover portrayed Dost Khan, one of the film’s principal antagonists.
The film also featured Danny Denzongpa, Dippannita Sharma, Sushant Singh and Aditi Govitrikar in significant roles.
16 December revolves around a plot to destroy New Delhi with a nuclear bomb on December 16, 2001, three decades after Pakistan’s surrender during the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War.
The film was produced by Anjali Joshi and Arunima Roy under the iDream Production banner. Ajayan Vincent handled the cinematography, while Mani Shankar headed the editing department.
Soman and Konwar frequently share glimpses of their personal lives and fitness routines on social media.
In July, Konwar shared pictures from a temple visit with Soman on Guru Purnima. Reflecting on the occasion, she expressed gratitude towards the people, places, culture and experiences that had shaped her life and referred to every experience that brings one closer to truth as a “guru”.
