Nagaur MP and Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP) national president Hanuman Beniwal has demanded a high-level inquiry into alleged mismanagement during the Ayurvedic PG examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in Jaipur.
Beniwal expressed strong displeasure over a reported power outage at Satya Sai PG College in Transport Nagar, where several computers at the examination centre allegedly shut down, causing difficulties for candidates.
The RLP leader said ensuring uninterrupted electricity, adequate technical infrastructure and emergency backup arrangements at examination centres was the responsibility of the NTA.
Describing the disruption as a serious lapse, Beniwal said students spend years preparing for competitive examinations and that any technical or administrative failure at such a crucial stage could adversely affect their future.
He termed the alleged negligence an injustice to students and said such lapses could not be accepted.
Beniwal also pointed to previous concerns raised over the NTA’s examination arrangements, saying the Jaipur incident had once again brought attention to what he described as shortcomings in the agency’s functioning.
Questioning the Union Education Minister, the Nagaur MP sought to know whether the government would take cognisance of the alleged negligence and seek an explanation from the officials responsible.
He demanded an immediate high-level inquiry into the incident and called for accountability from both the concerned NTA officials and those responsible for arrangements at the examination centre.
Beniwal further sought strict action against anyone found responsible following the inquiry. He said effective measures should be implemented to prevent students elsewhere in the country from facing similar problems during future examinations.
