Recently evicted “Lock Upp 2” contestant Akanksha Choudhary has accused fellow contestant Shreya Kalra of allegedly creating false narratives and making claims without evidence during their time on the reality show.
Speaking after her eviction, Akanksha alleged that several statements made by Shreya were intended to influence public perception and were not supported by facts.
“There are a lot of things that haven’t come out on camera. It’s good that people have finally caught these things. In the beginning, she kept lying that she does fake PR and negative PR. Now everyone knows who did it. Her proofs are also out,” Akanksha told the media.
She further claimed that Shreya had failed to provide proof for allegations she had allegedly made over a period of time.
Akanksha cited an instance involving fellow contestant Shilpa, alleging that Shreya had falsely claimed she made remarks about Shilpa’s parents. She said no such conversation took place and accused Shreya of building a narrative around the incident.
The evicted contestant also alleged that Shreya had made similar claims involving Madhuri, adding that such narratives could affect a person’s public image.
With the finale approaching, “Lock Upp 2” currently features contestants including Akanksha Chamola, Shilpa Shinde, Ram Kapoor, Yogesh Rawat, Shreya Kalra, Shivangi Joshi, Harshad Chopra and Varun Yadav, popularly known as Laila.
Hosted by Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh, the second season of the reality show features 14 contestants competing inside the “lock-up” format. The contestants participate in tasks to earn in-game currency required for food, supplies and other privileges.
The first season of the show premiered in 2022 and was hosted by Kangana Ranaut, with Munawar Faruqui emerging as the winner and Karan Kundrra serving as the jailor.
