Actress Tara Sutaria’s mother, Tina Sutaria, shared a heartwarming “then and now” glimpse of her daughter, reminiscing about her journey from childhood to her life as an actress.
Tina took to Instagram to share a throwback photograph of Tara from her preschool days, in which the young actress is seen dressed in a white and gold lehenga. She paired it with a recent picture of Tara looking elegant in a saree.
Alongside the photographs, Tina wrote: “Then ……. and now. Ever beautiful, ever graceful. Always my baby. @tarasutaria.”
Tara is currently associated with Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, a gangster drama starring Yash in a dual role, alongside Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi and Rukmini Vasanth.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas and written by Yash, the film follows Raya, a violent gangster and playboy who rises to power in the underworld before facing his eventual downfall. Years later, he comes face-to-face with his biological son Rumi, also known as Ticket, who seeks revenge after Raya abandoned him and his mother.
Toxic was shot simultaneously in Kannada and English and has also been released in dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
Tara began her entertainment career as a singer on the reality show Big Bada Boom in 2010 before moving into acting with television shows including The Suite Life of Karan & Kabir and Oye Jassie. She made her Bollywood debut with Student of the Year 2 in 2019 and later appeared in films such as Marjaavaan, Ek Villain Returns and Apurva.
According to Sacnilk, Toxic recorded a gross collection of Rs 37.65 crore across 22,629 shows on its second day. Its cumulative gross collection stood at Rs 165.85 crore, while its India net collection was reported at Rs 138.75 crore.
