Actress Neha Dhupia and actor Angad Bedi celebrated the fifth birthday of their son, Guriq Singh Dhupia Bedi, on Saturday, sharing heartfelt messages and cherished family moments on social media.
Neha marked the occasion by posting a series of previously unseen photographs with Guriq, accompanied by an affectionate birthday note.
“You light up our lives our baby boy … Uff! my whole heart beats for you….Happy 5 our Guqqu … mama loves you to the moon n back n more ….Stay curious, stay happy, stay wild our child,” she wrote, wishing her son happiness and a joyful life.
Angad also shared special moments featuring Guriq with him and his late father, legendary cricketer Bishan Singh Bedi. Remembering his father, Angad expressed how much he wished he could have been there to witness his grandson growing up.
“Guriq turns 5 today pitaji. Wish you were here to see his growth. Hes turning out to be a fine boy. I try and share all my learnings from you,” Angad wrote.
He added that Guriq asks about his grandfather whenever he sees his photographs and that he shares stories about him with his son. Angad also said he hoped his father would continue to guide Guriq as he grows older.
Recalling one of his father’s favourite sayings, “Mann Niva Matt Uchi”, Angad described it as a gift for his son. He also revealed that Guriq is ambidextrous, just like his grandfather.
Neha and Angad tied the knot in a private ceremony at a Gurudwara on May 10, 2018. The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Mehr Dhupia Bedi, on November 18, 2018. Their son Guriq was born on October 3, 2021.
On the professional front, Neha was recently seen in the coming-of-age romantic comedy Don’t Be Shy, produced by Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt under their banner, Eternal Sunshine Productions.
