Saba Pataudi has taken a nostalgic trip down memory lane, sharing unseen family moments featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan from the period when the Bollywood actress made headlines for her much-discussed ‘size zero’ transformation.
Saif Ali Khan’s sister shared a collection of old photographs on her official Instagram account on Saturday, offering a glimpse into cherished moments with the Pataudi family.
One of the photographs shows Saba relaxing on a deck chair alongside Kareena, who is seen sporting a toned physique, believed to be from the period surrounding the filming of her 2008 film Tashan. Saba captioned the photograph, “Chilling out! (sic)”.
Kareena’s dramatic physical transformation for Tashan, which also starred Saif Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar, became one of Bollywood’s most widely discussed fitness trends. Reports at the time suggested that the actress had reduced her weight from approximately 68 kg to 48 kg through yoga and a dedicated diet plan.
However, Kareena has repeatedly clarified that she did not starve herself to achieve the much-publicised ‘size zero’ look. The actress has spoken about continuing to enjoy her favourite foods, including parathas, during her fitness journey.
Saba’s latest photo collection also featured several other members of the Pataudi family. One photograph showed her with her niece and nephew, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan, alongside their grandmother, veteran actress Sharmila Tagore. The picture carried the caption, “Before the party …with the Munchkins! (sic)”.
Another memorable frame captured Sharmila Tagore performing a yoga pose while lying on a mat in the sunlight, with hair curlers in place.
The collection also included photographs of Saba with her siblings Soha Ali Khan and Saif Ali Khan, Sara, Ibrahim, brother-in-law Kunal Kemmu and niece Inaaya Naumi Kemmu.
Known for regularly sharing personal moments from her family life on social media, Saba continues to give followers glimpses into the close-knit Pataudi household through photographs and nostalgic posts.
