Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma has revealed that spending time with his children is his favourite way to unwind after hectic days filled with cricket and travel.
Rohit, who recently turned host for Sony Entertainment Television’s ‘Family Full House’, opened up about his idea of relaxation during a recent episode featuring actress Ankita Lokhande.
Lokhande asked the former India captain what he likes to do after returning home following a long day of playing cricket and travelling.
Rohit said that rather than opting for a quiet or laid-back routine, he enjoys following his children around and spending time with them.
“Main apne dono bachchon ke peeche bhaagta hoon. Meko maza aata hai unke saath kyunki jab hum itna travel karte hain, ghar mein time spend nahi kar paate. Toh jab bhi ghar aata hoon, toh dekhta hoon ki woh ghar mein kya karte hain, kahan bhaagte hain, toh unke peeche bhaagta rehta hoon,” he said.
Rohit explained that frequent travel means he is unable to spend as much time at home, making his moments with his children particularly enjoyable.
Reacting to his answer, Lokhande called it “the best therapy”.
Rohit married Ritika Sajdeh on December 13, 2015. The couple welcomed their daughter, Samaira, on December 30, 2018, and their son, Ahaan, on November 15, 2024.
‘Family Full House’ airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:30 p.m. on Sony Entertainment Television and is also available for streaming on Sony LIV.
